DALLAS -- Tyler Seguin didnt realize he had become a part of Dallas Stars history until he looked up at the video board. Marcos Alonso Jersey . Thats when he learned he had tied a team record with his third hat trick of the season, joining Mike Modano and Bill Guerin. Seguin also had two assists Thursday night as the Stars beat the Vancouver Canucks 6-1. "Until I saw it on the board, I wasnt aware," he said. He was especially pleased to be in the company of Modano, whose No. 9 will be retired at the Stars game Saturday. "Its awesome," Seguin said. "I talk a lot with him when he comes to game. He tells me a couple of things about my game." Seguin, the team leader with 29 goals, has had two of the NHLs six five-point games this season. Jamie Benn, Alex Goligoski and Ryan Garbutt also scored for Dallas, which built a 5-0 lead. Kari Lehtonen made 32 saves, and Benn and Rich Peverley each had two assists. Seguin scored twice in the first period, and completed his hat trick at 12:53 of the third by squeezing the puck through a narrow opening past Canucks backup goalie Jacob Markstrom. Vancouvers Zac Dalpe scored at 18:15 of the second period. Dallas solidified its hold on the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference, improving to 9-3-2 in their last 14 goals. The fading Canucks, 11th in the West, dropped to 1-10-1 in their last 12 and fell four points behind Dallas. Vancouver coach John Tortorella said he didnt believe his team quit. "I still think there is the people in (the locker room) that can help us pull through this and were going to keep on going about it each day." Canucks goalie Eddie Lack stopped only 12 of 17 shots before Markstrom replaced him. Markstrom, acquired earlier this week in the trade that sent Roberto Luongo to Florida, had four saves. "It feels like were ready when the game starts, and then we kind of just collapsed today," Lack said. "For me, I kind of just have to look at myself tonight ... and have to be better." Benn put in a rebound 2:57 into the game after Lack had stopped Seguins backhand. Seguin scored the second goal on a power play. He took a pass from Alex Chiasson behind the Canucks defence and fired into the upper right corner from in front of the net. "That was a big message before tonights game, was our starts," Seguin said. The Stars had been outscored 6-0 in the first period of their previous three games. Even at 2-0, the lead appeared safe against a team that has scored only nine goals in its last eight games. Seguin made it 3-0 at 11:59, taking a pass off the boards from Peverley and turning and one-timing a shot between Lack and the right goal post. "The one he rips from the wall in the first period found a way to go in," Dallas coach Lindy Ruff said. "You could just say its never a bad play to get it on net. "His late one, for the hat trick, you wonder how it goes in, but it went in. (Vernon Fiddler) said on the bench, Those never go in for me. It is funny how sometimes goal scorers find ways to put them in the holes." The shots on goal, eight for each team, did not reflect Dallas domination of the first period. The Stars began the second on a 5-minute power play. Vancouvers Zack Kassian received a major penalty for boarding and a game misconduct for a hit on Brenden Dillon in front of the Canucks bench with 1:30 left in the first period. With that man advantage, Dallas took a 4-0 lead at 2:20 of the second. Ray Whitney passed from behind the goal line to defenceman Goligoski low in the right faceoff circle. He shot into the near side of the net. Seguin assisted on the goal. At 12:08, Goligoski passed across to Garbutt on the left side, and his goal increased the lead to 5-0. Goligoski said, "We came in more focused. We knew these guys have had a tough time scoring goals, so we needed to bury a few early." Dalpe scored a power-play goal late in the period to get the Canucks on the board with a shot that hit Lehtonen as he tried to recover his position. The teams again were tied in shots, with nine each. Vancouver outshot Dallas 16-5 in the third period. NOTES: Dillon left the ice after Kassians hit, but returned for the second period. ... Goligoski has a goal in each of the last three games after scoring only twice in his first 59 games this season. "Its a case of being in the right place at the right time," he said. Dallas defencemen have totalled six goals in those three games. ... Benn has two goals and seven assists in his last six games. ... Lack, starting for the Canucks for the fifth consecutive game, had allowed 1.25 goals per game for the first four. Thibaut Courtois Jersey . Schaub will start for an injured Case Keenum and try to help the Texans end a 12-game skid. Schaubs last action in Houston came when he took over late in a game against Oakland on Nov. 17 as Keenum was struggling. Pedro Jersey . Berdych and Stepanek played all five matches when the Czechs beat Spain 3-2 in the final last November in Prague to win the countrys first title as an independent nation. http://www.chelseafcproshop.com/Kids-Willian-Jersey/ .com) - No Sidney Crosby, no problem.MINNEAPOLIS - Throughout most of last season, Minnesota Timberwolves president of basketball operations Flip Saunders and owner Glen Taylor remained steadfast in their stance that they would not consider trading Kevin Love. They were determined instead to convince the All-Star forward that he should sign an extension to remain after next season. With the NBA draft lottery coming up this week and an increasing concern that Love will leave for another team after next year, that stance has softened, two people with knowledge of the situation told The Associated Press. The Timberwolves are now open to the idea of trading Love if the right deal comes along. The people requested anonymity because the team has not made any final decisions on Loves future in Minnesota. A likely asking price would include a high first-round pick in this years draft and a solid veteran or two who would come in and contribute right away to a team that is lacking in veteran leadership. If the Wolves do not get an offer they feel is worthy of parting with the second-best player in franchise history, they are content to move forward with a plan to show Love that Minnesota is where he belongs, much the way the Portland Trail Blazers did with LaMarcus Aldridge last off-season. Love just finished the second year of a four-year deal that includes an option for him to opt-out in the summer of 2015. The contract terms were the first signs of strife for Love and the organization when former basketball boss David Kahn declined to give him the full five-year maximum deal that Love wanted. Kahn was fired in 2013 and Saunders has worked tirelessly to try to convince Love that he should stay in Minnesota where he can make about $26.5 million more than he can anywhere else. But the Wolves have not made the playoffs in 10 years, including all six of Loves seasons with the team, a lack of success that has one of the best power forwards in the game growing more and more impatient. Neither Love nor his representatives have gone so far as to ask for a trade, but as the NBA draft lottery approaches on Tuesday, the trade market figures to heat up. The Timberwolves are slotted to pick 13th in the first round. But they are hollding out hope that they get lucky for the first time in franchise history in the lottery and jump up. Ross Barkley Jersey. Getting one of the top three picks in a strong draft could be an encouraging sign for Love. If that doesnt happen, the Wolves could look at making a trade if they felt it had a chance to make them better in the long run. Love has made three All-Star teams and helped Team USA win the gold medal at the London Olympics. He averaged 26.1 points, 12.5 rebounds and 4.4 assists last season, but the Wolves finished a disappointing 40-42 and missed the playoffs in the Western Conference. While there remains some question whether Love can be the best player on a championship-calibre team, there figures to be a long list of suitors to line up for his services via trade this summer or free agency next year. But Love would likely have to give any team that makes the Wolves an offer some kind of indication that he is open to signing an extension, much the way Chris Paul did when he was dealt from New Orleans to the Los Angeles Clippers in 2011. The uncertainty surrounding Love has also complicated the Wolves pursuit of a coach to replace Rick Adelman, who retired after the season. Saunders has been in the market for a proven, experienced head coach who can come and command respect right away while also handling what most assuredly would be a difficult season filled with constant questions about Loves status. Not surprisingly, most of the names near the top of Saunders list have been reluctant to entertain the idea of taking the job without knowing what is going to happen with Love. Some luck on lottery night could also make the job more attractive for an incoming coach. In the absence of any long-shot lottery luck, the Wolves will ramp up their coaching search after their draft position solidifies on Tuesday night. Names such as Lionel Hollins, Sam Mitchell and Scott Skiles will all get consideration. And return runs at Michigan States Tom Izzo, Floridas Billy Donovan or Iowa States Fred Hoiberg arent out of the question after all three gave them a tepid response early in the process. ___ Follow Jon Krawczynski on Twitter: http://twitter.com/APKrawczynski Cheap Jerseys China NFL Jerseys China NFL Jerseys Wholesale Discount Basketball Jerseys Cheap NHL Jerseys Authentic Cheap Baseball Jerseys Free Shipping Cheapest College Jerseys Sale Cheap Football Jerseys China Nike NFL Jerseys Canada Wholesale NHL Jerseys From China MLB Jerseys Outlet Canada Wholesale NBA Jerseys Canada Store Cheap Soccer Jerseys China Cheap Authentic Jerseys Canada ' ' '
