CAIRO nike air max 90 white online sale , July 17 (Xinhua) -- The Council of the Arab League on Monday condemned Israel's decision to bar Palestinians from entering the al-Aqsa mosque in East Jerusalem.
In a statement after a meeting in Cairo on the recent developments in East Jerusalem, The Council said the Israeli measures there are a blatant breach of Palestinian worship rights.
The Council added that the Israeli practices violate the international laws and the United Nations resolutions.
It also stressed the necessity to end the Israeli practices, rejecting Israel's change of the status quo in East Jerusalem.
Israel shut down the holy site and installed checkpoints and metal detectors at its entrances after three Palestinian Muslims with Israeli citizenship shot dead two Israel policemen on Friday morning.
It was for the first time in the past 50 years that Israel closed the compound, which is Islam's third holiest site.
Israel reopened the holy site on Sunday, requiring all visitors to go through security checks through metal detectors that were placed at two gates.
However, the Waqf, a Muslim religious authority that administrates the compound, rejected the new measures and refused to hold prayers at the mosque.

DAMASCUS, Aug. 6 (Xinhua) -- The Syrian Foreign Ministry on Sunday renewed calls on the UN to dissolve the U.S.-led anti-terror coalition over crimes against civilians in Syria, according to the state news agency SANA.
"The U.S. systematic massacres against Syrian civilians constitutes a flagrant violation of the International law," the ministry said, urging for "the immediate dismantling of the coalition that has been formed without the request of the Syrian government and outside the framework of the UN."
The ministry referred to several incidents where civilian casualties were caused by the airstrikes of the U.S.-led coalition, saying the U.S. has used white phosphorus in its attacks on civilians in the northern city of Raqqa.
It also said the attacks destroyed houses and hospitals in Raqqa, the de facto capital of the Islamic State (IS) group.
The ministry noted that the coalition's "crimes" were repeated in the provinces of Hasakah, Aleppo and Deir al-Zour.
The condemnation comes a day after U.S.-led airstrikes killed 43 civilians in the several areas in Raqqa.
Over the past two months, the U.S. coalition has upped its attacks on Raqqa, coupled with the ground offensive of the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces, which captured half of Raqqa from IS.

ATHENS, April 23 (Xinhua) -- At the end of the third day of the Torch Relay launched on Thursday at ancient Olympia after the lighting ceremony, the Olympic Flame burning for the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics reached the port of Thessaloniki in northern Greece.
On Saturday evening, the cauldron set up in front of the city' s landmark, the White Tower, was ignited by Voula Patoulidou, the current Deputy Governor of the region. Patoulidou became a Greek sporting legend in 1992 when she was the surprise winner of the Women's 100 meters hurdles race at the Olympic Games in Barcelona.
The Sacred Flame' s journey had started from Preveza in western Greece in the morning. Wherever it passed it received a warm welcome by locals and tourists who cheered.
At the nearby city of Igoumenitsa, local Greek rower Alexandra Tsiavou, a bronze medal winner at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, was among the torchbearers.
At the Ionian Sea island of Corfu, where it arrived by ferry, the Flame was carried among others by para-athlete Panagiotis Spinoulas, a swimmer, and Maria Georgatou, a veteran rhythmic gymnast who had won a bronze medal at the 2000 Sidney Summer Olympics.
The next stop was Ioannina, where retired footballer Giourkas Seitaridis, a member of the Greek national team which had won Euro 2004, lit the cauldron by Pamvotida lake.
At the city of Veroia, among torchbearers was Nikos Toulikas, a gold medal winner in 5,000 meters at the 2015 Los Angeles Special Olympics.
After staying overnight at Thessaloniki, the Sacred Light will continue its journey across northern Greece before starting descending to the south.
On Wednesday, the Greek leg of the Relay will end at the Panathinaic stadium in central Athens, the marble venue of the first modern Olympics 120 years ago.
The Hellenic Olympic Committee will hand over the Flame to the Rio Games Organizing Committee.
The second leg of the Torch Relay across Brazil will end at Maracana stadium in Rio on Aug. 5.
