Glendale, AZ (SportsNetwork. Dana Barros Jersey .com) - Another week, another key injury. This time it was Antonio Cromartie. The Arizona Cardinals, though, still keep finding ways to win and remain atop the NFC West. Drew Stanton tossed a go-ahead 26-yard touchdown pass to Jaron Brown late in the third quarter and Arizonas defense held off Kansas City in the fourth as the Cardinals edged the Chiefs 17-14 on Sunday. Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce fumbled the ball at the Arizona 16 with 5:23 remaining and the Cardinals drained the ensuing 4:14 off the clock by picking up a pair of first downs. After Chandler Catanzaro hit the left upright on a 34-yard field goal with 1:09 left, the Chiefs mustered just seven yards before turning the ball over on downs. Alex Smiths short pass to Jason Avant fell incomplete on a 4th- and-15 with 11 ticks on the clock. Arizonas defense shut out the Chiefs in the second half after surrendering two scores to Jamaal Charles in the opening 30 minutes. He ran for a 63-yard touchdown and caught an 18-yard TD pass. Smith went 12-of-13 in the first half, but was limited to 14-of-26 efficiency in the second. He threw for 293 yards in all. Kerwynn Williams, elevated from the practice squad to fill in for Andre Ellington, who has a hip injury, carried the ball 19 times for 100 yards. Stanton had lost two of his last three starts coming in after Carson Palmer was lost for the season with a knee injury during a Week 10 victory over St. Louis. He was 15-of-30 for 239 yards for Arizona (10-3), which remained a game ahead of the Seattle Seahawks for first place in the NFC West. Seattle beat Philadelphia 24-14 on Sunday. Ball-hawking safety Tyrann Mathieu will miss significant time after fracturing his left thumb and the secondary took another blow with the loss of Cromartie. He hurt his left Achilles during the middle stages of the fourth and had to be carted off the field. Charles gained 91 yards on 10 totes, while Kelce totaled 110 yards on seven receptions for the Chiefs (7-6), who have dropped three straight on the heels of a five-game winning streak. Alex Okafor intercepted Smiths pass over the middle intended for Albert Wilson and returned it 26 yards to the Kansas City 42. Stanton fired his 26- yard score on a 3rd-and-18 when Brown broke free on a left seam pattern. Stanton then flipped a two-point conversion to John Carlson to give the Cardinals a 17-14 edge with 3:26 to go in the third. The Chiefs got the ball back with 6:51 left following a Cardinals three-and- out and Smith hit Kelce down the right sideline for a 29-yard gain. Smith tossed a hitch pass to Kelce to convert a 3rd-and-4, but Arizona safety Deone Bucannon forced a fumble after the 18-yard reception and cornerback Justin Bethel made the recovery. Earlier, Catanzaro nailed a 44-yard field goal to finish off Arizonas opening drive, but the Chiefs went in front on their third offensive snap of the game. Charles broke free off right tackle and scampered down the sideline for his 63- yard score. It was the longest run the Cardinals defense has allowed all season. The Cardinals drove the ball to the Kansas City 38 on their next touch, but Robert Hughes lost a yard on a 3rd-and-1 and Arizona elected to punt. Arizona did put up points on its ensuing touch. Rob Housler hauled in a 20- yard reception on a 3rd-and-2 and Stanton hit Larry Fitzgerald for a 5-yard gain on the following 3rd-and-2 to put it in field goal range. Justin Houston sacked Stanton on a 3rd-and-goal and the Cardinals settled for a 33-yard Catanzaro field goal to cut the deficit to 7-6 midway through the second. The Chiefs answered on their next march. Arizona brought an all-out blitz on a 3rd-and-14 and Smith darted through a huge running lane up the middle to pick up 21 yards. The Chiefs then moved the chains on a 3rd-and-20 later in the drive when Dwayne Bowe took in a pass over the middle and hurdled a defender en route to a 22-yard gain. Charles caught a swing pass in the right flat and cut inside on Arizona cornerback Patrick Peterson and linebacker OBrien Schofield prior to crossing the goal line for an 18-yard score to make it 14-6 with 1:12 to play in the second. Catanzaro hit the right upright on a 36-yard field goal attempt in the waning seconds of the half. Game Notes Fitzgerald returned after missing the last two games with a sprained right knee. Therrien would not confirm his lineup for the game, but he did have the same line combinations practicing together for the third straight day which is usually a pretty good indication of what the lineup will be. http://www.official76ersproshop.com/kids-maurice-cheeks-76ers-jersey/ . a€“ All signs point to the Maple Leafs having their top offseason acquisition in the lineup on opening night.MINNEAPOLIS - Throughout most of last season, Minnesota Timberwolves president of basketball operations Flip Saunders and owner Glen Taylor remained steadfast in their stance that they would not consider trading Kevin Love. They were determined instead to convince the All-Star forward that he should sign an extension to remain after next season. With the NBA draft lottery coming up this week and an increasing concern that Love will leave for another team after next year, that stance has softened, two people with knowledge of the situation told The Associated Press. The Timberwolves are now open to the idea of trading Love if the right deal comes along. The people requested anonymity because the team has not made any final decisions on Loves future in Minnesota. A likely asking price would include a high first-round pick in this years draft and a solid veteran or two who would come in and contribute right away to a team that is lacking in veteran leadership. If the Wolves do not get an offer they feel is worthy of parting with the second-best player in franchise history, they are content to move forward with a plan to show Love that Minnesota is where he belongs, much the way the Portland Trail Blazers did with LaMarcus Aldridge last off-season. Love just finished the second year of a four-year deal that includes an option for him to opt-out in the summer of 2015. The contract terms were the first signs of strife for Love and the organization when former basketball boss David Kahn declined to give him the full five-year maximum deal that Love wanted. Kahn was fired in 2013 and Saunders has worked tirelessly to try to convince Love that he should stay in Minnesota where he can make about $26.5 million more than he can anywhere else. But the Wolves have not made the playoffs in 10 years, including all six of Loves seasons with the team, a lack of success that has one of the best power forwards in the game growing more and more impatient. Neither Love nor his representatives have gone so far as to ask for a trade, but as the NBA draft lottery approaches on Tuesday, the trade market figures to heat up. The Timberwolves are slotted to pick 13th in the first round. But they are hollding out hope that they get lucky for the first time in franchise history in the lottery and jump up. Timothe Luwawu Jersey. Getting one of the top three picks in a strong draft could be an encouraging sign for Love. If that doesnt happen, the Wolves could look at making a trade if they felt it had a chance to make them better in the long run. Love has made three All-Star teams and helped Team USA win the gold medal at the London Olympics. He averaged 26.1 points, 12.5 rebounds and 4.4 assists last season, but the Wolves finished a disappointing 40-42 and missed the playoffs in the Western Conference. While there remains some question whether Love can be the best player on a championship-calibre team, there figures to be a long list of suitors to line up for his services via trade this summer or free agency next year. But Love would likely have to give any team that makes the Wolves an offer some kind of indication that he is open to signing an extension, much the way Chris Paul did when he was dealt from New Orleans to the Los Angeles Clippers in 2011. The uncertainty surrounding Love has also complicated the Wolves pursuit of a coach to replace Rick Adelman, who retired after the season. Saunders has been in the market for a proven, experienced head coach who can come and command respect right away while also handling what most assuredly would be a difficult season filled with constant questions about Loves status. Not surprisingly, most of the names near the top of Saunders list have been reluctant to entertain the idea of taking the job without knowing what is going to happen with Love. Some luck on lottery night could also make the job more attractive for an incoming coach. In the absence of any long-shot lottery luck, the Wolves will ramp up their coaching search after their draft position solidifies on Tuesday night. Names such as Lionel Hollins, Sam Mitchell and Scott Skiles will all get consideration. And return runs at Michigan States Tom Izzo, Floridas Billy Donovan or Iowa States Fred Hoiberg arent out of the question after all three gave them a tepid response early in the process. ___ Follow Jon Krawczynski on Twitter: http://twitter.com/APKrawczynskiCheap Football Norway JerseysCheap Nigeria Soccer JerseysCheap Morocco Soccer JerseysCheap Mexico Soccer JerseysCheap Japan Soccer JerseysCheap Italy Soccer JerseysCheap Germany Jerseys AuthenticCheap Mexico Jerseys AuthenticCheap Colombia Jerseys AuthenticCheap Belgium Jerseys AuthenticCheap Brazil Jerseys AuthenticCheap Argentina Jerseys AuthenticWholesale Germany JerseysWholesale Brazil JerseysWholesale Portugal JerseysWholesale Argentina JerseysWholesale Belgium JerseysWholesale France JerseysWholesale Spain JerseysWholesale England Jerseys ' ' '
