fantasy football team is 0-0 https://www.brownsfanshop.com/Austin-Corbett-Jersey , filled with optimism about the teams they've drafted. Daily fantasy players are peering through every stat in hopes of being the next big-money winner at one of the popular sites. The new season is just about here, but the Week 1 Start/Sit begins now.START: Russell Wilson, QB, Seahawks: Wilson begins the season at home against a Bengals team that ranked 29th in fantasy points allowed per game to opposing quarterbacks. The addition of rookie WR D.K. Metcalf gives Wilson an ideal option when he chooses to dial it up. Wilson was second in the league with a 46.7% completion rate when throwing the deep ball.SIT: Matt Ryan, QB, Falcons: Atlanta worked hard in the offseason to upgrade an offensive line that ranked 25th in protection rate. Ryan was sacked 42 times last season and opens the season on the road against a Vikings defense that finished third in fantasy points allowed to opposing passers.START: Kerryon Johnson, RB, Lions: The second-year pro, considered a potential fantasy breakout, opens the season against the worst run defense in fantasy football. Opposing teams averaged 136.4 yards and 1.3 touchdowns per game in 2018 against Arizona, along with a near 80% completion rate allowed to running backs.SIT: Duke Johnson, RB, Texans: Carlos Hyde will cut into his carries, plus the Saints were fourth in fewest fantasy points allowed per game to opposing backs, giving up just 17.15 per game. Despite leading the league with 7.1 yards per touch last season, Johnson will be limited behind a Texans line that remains suspect even with the addition of LT Laremy Tunsil from the Dolphins last weekend.START: Dede Westbrook, WR Nick Chubb Jersey , Jaguars: No team allowed more receiving yards last season than the Chiefs. Westbrook accounted for 27.1% of the team's receiving yards and touchdowns in 2018, a number that could zoom up with the addition of quarterback Nick Foles. The third-year wideout is primed for a huge season, and facing KC's secondary is a splendid springboard to begin on.SIT: Curtis Samuel, WR, Panthers: A popular mid-round selection in most fantasy drafts, Samuel will likely be shadowed by Rams CB Aqib Talib. Opposing quarterbacks managed a 53.8 rating when throwing against Talib last season. Despite being 34, Talib can still make life miserable for receivers.START: Evan Engram, TE, Giants: Engram averaged 80 yards per game in the final four weeks of 2018 and will see his target share of 16.9% climb up now that he will be featured in the offense. The Cowboys will have fits containing Engram once he has the ball, as he ranked third among all TEs with 377 yards after the catch.SIT: David Njoku, TE, Browns: Only Jarvis Landry had a higher team target share than Njoku's 16.9% last season, but Njkou had a disappointing 63.6% catch rate and was nearly invisible (inside the red zone with only eight targets). Not only does Njkou have to contend with a Titans defense that ranked third in fewest fantasy points per game to opposing TEs, but he also has to jockey for targets now that Odell Beckham Jr. is in the lineup.START: Courtland Sutton, WR, Broncos: Sutton has good upside as a possible WR3/Flex going against a Raiders defense that allowed 30.26 fantasy points per game to opposing receivers last season. His 16.8 yards per catch ranked 11th among receivers, yet what makes Sutton intriguing is that only seven other receivers had a higher end zone target rate than Sutton's 39.8% last season. Entering his second season Chad Thomas Color Rush Jersey , Sutton has the potential to help quarterback Joe Flacco along with becoming a go-to target in Denver's passing game.SIT: Dak Prescott, QB, Cowboys: Any hopes of Prescott becoming more pass happy ended early Wednesday morning when RB Ezekiel Elliott agreed on a six-year, $90 million contract extension. The Cowboys were just 19th in pass plays (36.4 per game) last season, and that number will likely hold up now that Dallas now has its workhorse in the backfield.START: Case Keenum, QB, Redskins: For all the Super Bowl hype surrounding the Eagles, the same secondary that ranked 30th in fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers returns. Keenum will likely be playing catch-up, so it wouldn't be surprising if he went north of 40 passes, which means he could rack up a solid yardage total along with a couple of touchdowns.SIT: Kallen Ballage, RB: Dolphins: The second-year back has potential but must deal with a Ravens defense that was second only to the Bears in fewest fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs. Ballage will have to share touches with Kenyan Drake, plus he's a strong candidate for having the defensive line stacked. Defenses averaged 6.3 players at the line when Ballage was in the backfield last season, and with a mediocre passing game, Ballage's "flex" appeal is greatly stunted.START: Jared Cook, TE, Saints: The Texans were 31st in fantasy points per game allowed to opposing TEs, and with much of their focus going to RB Alvin Kamara and WR Michael Thomas https://www.brownsfanshop.com/Antonio-Callaway-Jersey , Cook, who finished fifth among TEs in fantasy points per game last season, should thrive in the middle of the field and in the red zone.SIT: Tyler Boyd, WR, Bengals: Boyd is now the WR1 in Cincinnati now that A.J. Green is out for an extended period. The Seahawks were a modest 17th in pass defense last season, but were 10th in fewest fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. If Andy Dalton is struggling, that means Boyd is as well. This column was provided to The Associated Press by SportsGrid Inc., www.sportsgrid.com Trent Richardson was a major bust in the NFL, and since then he’s tried to resurrect his career with short stints in the Canadian Football League and Alliance of American Football. And he’s not done.Richardson is now trying to make it to the XFL, and after a recent tryout he said he’s committed to getting another chance in professional football.“Keep showing myself and my kids that I’ll never give up and I’ll always follow my dream,” Richardson said. “I guess you can say I have a chip on my shoulder.”It’s probably too late for Richardson to revive his disappointing NFL career, which means he’ll always be remembered as a third overall draft pick who managed to average just 3.3 yards per carry. But it’s respectable that he wants to keep trying. When the XFL launches in January, Richardson will probably be lined up at running back for some team, still showing that he’s not going to give up on playing professional football.

have a new head coach for the first time since 2006 this year https://www.thepackersfanshop.com/Kevin-King-Jersey , and some have questioned whether Rodgers is coachable. Packers running back Aaron Jones has no questions.Jones said on NFL Network that he has no doubts about Rodgers’ ability to work with new head coach Matt LaFleur.“I don’t think Aaron will have a problem,” Jones said. “He’ll pick it up very quickly. He’s coachable, and he wants to win, and he’s a team player, and he’s a leader Clay Matthews Jersey , so we’re all going to get behind our leader and we’re going to be ready to go this year.”That Jones specifically began his defense of Rodgers by calling him “coachable” suggests that he’s well aware of the former Packers who say Rodgers is not. Jones likely won’t be the last Packer to stand up for Rodgers along those lines this offseason, but the proof will be in Rodgers’ play when the season starts. The Eagles didn’t practice Monday, but they still had to put out an estimated practice report since they play Thursday. They listed receiver J.J. Arcega-Whiteside (heel), running back Corey Clement (shoulder), cornerback Ronald Darby (hamstring) Blake Martinez Color Rush Jersey , offensive tackle Andre Dillard (knee), receiver DeSean Jackson (abdomen) and defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan (foot) as non-participants.Arcega-Whiteside is an addition to the report. The Eagles are “hoping” Jeffery can play this week, which would be a boost for a receiving corps hard hit by injuries. Jackson is expected to miss another game.Darby is expected to miss time with his injury.Defensive end Derek Barnett (ankle), linebacker Nathan Gerry (calf, knee) https://www.thepackersfanshop.com/Dave-Robinson-Jersey , tight end Dallas Goedert (calf) and receiver Alshon Jeffery (calf) earned limited designations.Linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill (knee) and quarterback Nate Sudfeld (left wrist) were estimated as full participants.

already has made huge headlines by being moved out of Mexico City because of poor playing conditions. Chiefs-Rams is back in Los Angeles Nyheim Hines Color Rush Jersey , in prime time and, if it lives up to its billing, could be a wild, high-scoring affair.Regardless of who wins, both clubs figure to be in the Super Bowl mix. And because of the extracurriculars associated with Monday night’s meeting, perhaps it won’t be a fair measurement which is the superior team.Who cares? For a mid-November match, fans can’t ask for much better than a pair of 9-1 teams with powerhouse offenses and stars galore — leading MVP contenders Todd Gurley of Los Angeles and Patrick Mahomes of Kansas City for starters — going at it as the only show in town. No matter which town. It’s the first meeting in NFL history this late in a season between two teams averaging 33 points per game.“He’s made some plays that you sit back and you can’t help but just say, ‘Wow, what a great play,'” Rams coach Sean McVay says of Mahomes, who leads the NFL in yards passing (3,150). Rams QB Jared Goff is second (3,134).Mahomes set a Chiefs record with an NFL-best 31st TD pass of the season last week. Len Dawson had held that KC record since 1964.Gurley paces the NFL in scoring (108 points), yards rushing (988), carries (198), yards from scrimmage (1,390) and touchdowns (17). He has scored a touchdown in 13 consecutive games, extending his own franchise record.“He is a heck of a player. A great player,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid says when asked how to slow Gurley. “You have to be disciplined. They’re a disciplined offense, so you have to be disciplined from a defensive standpoint. Then practice that way and then you go play.”OK, guys https://www.coltsfanshop.com/Johnny-Unitas-Jersey , go play. Let America watch what could be a classic. The weekend began Thursday night with Seattle’s 27-24 home victory over Green Bay. Russell Wilson threw for 225 yards and his 15-yard touchdown pass to Ed Dickson with 5:08 left was the difference. Seattle (5-5) snapped a two-game losing streak. Green Bay dropped to 4-5-1.Off this week are New England (7-3), the New York Jets (3-7), Miami (5-5), Cleveland (3-6-1), San Francisco (2-8) and Buffalo (3-7).MINNESOTA (5-3-1) at CHICAGO (6-3)We soon will find out if the Bears are for real. They are on top of the NFC North, now face the defending division winners, then in a ridiculously short turnaround from Sunday night, they play the early Thanksgiving Day game at Detroit. They also have the Rams and Packers on the road in December. Two of the NFL’s stingiest and most physical defenses should be main factors Sunday.Minnesota has allowed an average of only 252.5 yards over last four games, winning three. It did so missing some starters. Safety Harrison Smith likes seeing the Bears: Smith has four interceptions and six passes defended in 10 career games vs. Chicago.Chicago dropped 10 in a row against the NFC North before beating Detroit last Sunday. It leads the NFL with 16 interceptions, and ranks second with 24 takeaways.HOUSTON (6-3) at WASHINGTON (6-3)Two also-rans of 2017 now leading their divisions. The Texans have won six in a row and come off a bye. Key personnel such as DE J.J. Watt and QB Deshaun Watson were injured last year and are now playing at peak efficiency. If Watson gets time to throw — Houston has surrendered 30 sacks — DeAndre Hopkins will be the biggest challenge to cover. He has four games with 10-plus catches, 100-plus yards and a touchdown through the air. That’s most in the league since the start of 2017, and Hopkins has five TD catches over the past four games. .Washington has showed some balance on offense, but the defense has been a major factor in its strong year. It has forced a turnover in 13 consecutive games, the NFL’s longest active streak.TENNESSEE (5-4) at INDIANAPOLIS (4-5)Suddenly, there’s a race in the AFC South, and the Colts could get even more involved with a fourth consecutive victory. But the Titans, coming off their best game by far in an upset of the Patriots, have won six straight within the division.Of course, Andrew Luck was not in the lineup for any of those; Luck is 9-0 in starts against Tennessee.“I’m aware of it,” Luck says. “But what’s happened has happened, and good Jacoby Brissett Jersey , bad or ugly, it doesn’t really matter.”The Titans have the league’s No. 1 scoring defense, allowing 16.8 points a game, and have yielded a league-low 16 touchdowns.PHILADELPHIA (4-5) at NEW ORLEANS (8-1)New Orleans looks like the NFL’s top team right now, and the Eagles don’t resemble their title-winning squad of last season.Injuries are damaging Philly’s defense at a really bad time. A banged-up secondary takes on Drew Brees and his assortment of helpers. The Saints have scored at least 40 points in five games this season, the third team in NFL history to score 40 in five of the first nine. Brees is completing 77.1 percent of his passes, has thrown for 21 TDs with one interception, and has a 123.8 passer rating.Michael Thomas is tied for the NFL lead with 78 catches, ranks second with 950 yards, while Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram form a formidable and versatile backfield.PITTSBURGH (6-2-1) at JACKSONVILLE (3-6)The Steelers will be wise to look forward and not back at their last encounter with the Jaguars. Jacksonville beat Pittsburgh twice last season, including a 45-42 playoff shocker at Heinz Field.Thinking revenge would be foolish because the Steelers are on a roll. Well, so are the Jags: Pittsburgh has won five in a row, Jacksonville has dropped that many consecutively.Steelers running back James Conner has not allowed the team to regret the contract impasse that has led to Le’Veon Bell sitting out the season. Conner is the eighth player in team history with at least 10 rushing touchdowns, leads the AFC in rushing, and is expected to play after being placed in concussion protocol following last week’s win over Carolina.CINCINNATI (5-4) at BALTIMORE (4-5)Cincinnati brings a historically leaky defense to Baltimore, which might be without regular quarterback Joe Flacco (hip). That would mean either first-round pick Lamar Jackson or veteran Robert Griffin III will try to further expose that Bengals unit. The Bengals have won eight of the last 10 in the series, but they fired first-year defensive coordinator Teryl Austin after a 51-14 loss to the Saints, the second-most points allowed in franchise history. They became the first team in the Super Bowl era to give up 500 yards in three straight games and are on pace to give up an NFL-record 7,273 yards.Head coach Marvin Lewis takes over defensive coordinator duties, too.DALLAS (4-5) at ATLANTA (4-5)The Falcons appeared ready to take a role in the playoff race with three successive wins. Then, they put forth a stinker at Cleveland.Meanwhile Reggie Wayne Color Rush Jersey , the Cowboys seemed headed toward irrelevance before they went into Philadelphia and outplayed the Super Bowl champions.Dallas will want to run with Zeke Elliott, who’s second in the NFL in rushing behind Gurley after gaining 151 yards against the Eagles. Atlanta will want to throw: Matt Ryan has seven games with a QB rating over 100 and six games with more than 300 yards passing, while Julio Jones became the fastest player in NFL history with more than 10,000 yards receiving.CAROLINA (6-3) at DETROIT (3-6)Both teams would like to forget last week’s poor performances.Carolina leads this infrequent series 6-2 and remains in good position in the wild-card race with a victory. Detroit needs an immediate turnaround to get into contention. If this is close, expect Cam Newton and Co. to win. Since 2013, the Panthers are 26-14 in games decided by seven points or fewer. They have won five straight games decided by three or fewer.Newton has thrown at least two TD passes in eight straight games, the longest streak in franchise history.DENVER (3-6) at LOS ANGELES CHARGERS (7-2)While the Rams grab the headlines in LA, the Chargers keep grabbing victories. They could get help in the AFC West if their neighbors knock off KC, too.The Chargers are a league-best 13-3 since Week 9 of last season. Their six-game winning streak marks the 11th time since the merger they had a streak of six or more. Philip Rivers has thrown for two or more TDs in nine straight games. Only five quarterbacks in league history have a string of 10 or more games.TAMPA BAY (3-6) at NEW YORK GIANTS (2-7)Saturday’s Notre Dame-Syracuse matchup in the New York area figures to be more fun than this, although the Bucs usually pile up the yards in passing offense and the Giants come off a stirring Eli Manning-led comeback win.Tampa has lost three in row and six of seven, while New York broke a five-game slide on Monday night. Bucs wideouts Mike Evans (13 catches for 217 yards and a TD in two games) and DeSean Jackson (five touchdowns in the last six games) have feasted on the Giants’ defense.OAKLAND (1-8) at ARIZONA (2-7)The lowest-ranked teams in the AP Pro32 face off with the Cardinals coming off a solid effort at Kansas City. The Raiders? They seem to have fallen into the Black Hole, outscored 54-9 in the last two games.Cardinals star Larry Fitzgerald needs eight receptions to surpass Jerry Rice for the most catches for one team. The decision by the Indianapolis Colts to place a waiver claim on kicker Chase McLaughlin on Wednesday seemed to indicate that things were not quite right with veteran kicker Adam Vinatieri.Vinatieri was listed on the team’s injury report on Wednesday with a knee injury amid a down season for the legendary kicker. Vinatieri has converted just 17 of 25 field goal attempts this season and missed six of 28 extra point attempts as well.According to a report from the NFL Network, Vinatieri had an MRI on his knee on Wednesday night and is scheduled to meet with the team’s front office on Thursday morning about the plan of action for him moving forward. At the very least it would seem as though Vinatieri’s status for this Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is in question. With the addition of McLaughlin, who converted 15 of his 16 kicks in three games for the San Francisco 49ers, the Colts will have a kicker at the ready to take Vinatieri’s place. However, carrying two kickers on the roster for a significant length of time is problematic as well. If Vinatieri’s knee will force him to miss multiple games, the team may need to put him on injured reserve and bring his 24th season to an abrupt end. And with Vinatieri’s rough season at age 46, it may end up becoming the end of an incredible career as well.

on the field for this week’s organized team activities.Safety Earl Thomas signed with the team in March Shaquem Griffin Color Rush Jersey , but was not a participant in on-field work in the offseason program as he recovered from the broken leg he suffered while playing for the Seahawks last season. That changed this week, however, and Thomas is now working with the rest of the team during practice. The Ravens celebrated the step with a video on social media and head coach John Harbaugh indicated all looks well with the three-time All-Pro.“He’s had a great week,” Harbaugh said Bradley McDougald Color Rush Jersey , via Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com. “Great anticipation and great ability to cover ground. He shows up in the right spots on a regular basis. That’s what great safeties do. He’s done a great job.”Hensley noted that Thomas is wearing a protective sleeve on his leg and that he “looked smooth” in a practice session open to the media. RENTON, Wash. (AP) — The Seattle Seahawks signed wide receiver Tyler Lockett to a three-year contract extension Wednesday, locking up a major contributor who could have been a free agent after the season.A former All-Pro selection as a kick returner, Lockett’s rookie deal was set to expire after the 2018 season Brett Hundley Color Rush Jersey , but he opted for the security of staying in Seattle over seeing what was available on the open market.“Everything that I need has been here,” Lockett said. “They traded picks to come and get me. They showed that they wanted me here.”Lockett has appeared to be back at full speed after playing last year at less than 100 percent following a gruesome broken leg suffered late in the 2016 season. Lockett also played through a knee injury most of the 2017 season, but still appeared in all 16 games and had 45 receptions for 555 yards and two touchdowns.Throughout his career, Lockett has been one of the top kick returners in the league. He was limited in returns last year because of the injuries Richard Sherman Color Rush Jersey , but has averaged nearly 26 yards per kickoff return with two touchdowns over three seasons.Lockett said his loyalty to Seattle was partly due to the Seahawks allowing him to be more than a returner.“They’ve allowed me to grow as a person and they also allowed me to develop into a receiver that I’m continuing to be every single day. … The fact they were willing to give me an extension because they see me in their future says a lot,” Lockett said.Lockett was among a handful of key Seattle players whose contracts were set to expire after this season. Left tackle Duane Brown received an extension earlier this summer. Seattle still must make decisions on defensive end Frank Clark and linebacker K.J. Wright.

GREEN BAY Lane Taylor Jersey White , Wis. 鈥?Matt LaFleur has been named head coach of the Green Bay Packers, the team announced Tuesday night, confirming multiple reports from a day earlier.More Packers coveragePackers at Bears to open 2019 scheduleTop Tweets: Brewers make hilarious ‘Mean Girls’ parody videoMatthews signs with Rams after 10 years with PackersPackers re-sign tight end Marcedes LewisTop Tweets: Nikola Mirotic loves being a Milwaukee BuckThe 39-year-old LaFleur spent this season as offensive coordinator of the Tennessee Titans, his first calling plays in the NFL. Before that, he was offensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Rams in 2017, helping direct a high-powered offense with coach Sean McVay calling plays.LaFleur takes over for Mike McCarthy, who was fired during the season following a stunning home loss to Arizona on Dec. 2. Joe Philbin went 2-2 as Green Bay’s interim coach. LaFleur will be charged with returning the Packers to the playoffs after the team slipped into mediocrity in McCarthy’s final two seasons and the coach’s relationship with quarterback Aaron Rodgers grew tenuous.“We are very excited to welcome Matt as the next head coach of the Green Bay Packers,” team president Mark Murphy said in a statement. “We found a coach with the background and experience that we think will get us back to playing winning football. We’re also excited about the person 鈥?he is bright with a great work ethic and a perfect fit for Green Bay and the organization.”LaFleur’s 10 years of NFL coaching experience also include stints as an assistant with Atlanta, Washington and Houston. He will be introduced at a news conference Wednesday in Green Bay. Matt LaFleur isn’t bringing the Air Raid to Green Bay. For all the excitement over his modern concepts and background coaching with the league’s most gifted offensive minds, the “newness” of it doesn’t mean the Green Bay Packers will line up with four receivers and a back out of an empty set in shotgun every play.In fact, quite the opposite. LaFleur coached quarterbacks on the 2016 Falcons team that put together one of the great offensive seasons of recent vintage. They played two or fewer receivers on 61% of their snaps, yet they were so efficient that Matt Ryan won the MVP and Atlanta put up nearly 34 points per game Tramon Williams Jersey , easily the best in the league that season. Julio Jones, a talented duo of running backs and a versatile H-back allowed the LaFleur and Kyle Shanahan offense to play that way, but it’s where this offensive structure really shines. They use traditional personnel to create mismatches and angles with defenses in base. On the flip side, Sean McVay (another coach with whom LaFleur worked) can run so effectively in part because he plays almost exclusively in 11 personnel with three receivers, forcing the defense to play smaller. Unlike McCarthy, who often telegraphed playcalls with personnel and formation, this offense flips that idea on its head, actively working against type and tendency. For example, the Falcons played with two tight ends on 20% of plays, but were successful on 59% of those plays, the best rate in the league that season according to Sharp Football Stats. (For an explanation of success rate, go to this site.) That success rate jumped to 63% when throwing out of that formation Paul Hornung Jersey White , with a passer rating of 132.6. In other words, Atlanta took a formation generally regarded as a run formation, and found outstanding success throwing the ball out of it. This is working against tendencies and type in the NFL. When LaFleur became the offensive coordinator of the Rams the following season, he brought that success in 12 personnel with him. Los Angeles led the league in success rate with two tight ends, and even bested Atlanta’s success rate at 60%. When they threw in those situations, Jared Goff’s passer rating soared above 122. It’s likely not a coincidence LaFleur’s Titans team used two tight ends even more often than the Rams and Falcons had when he was there: he saw the value of creating matchup advantages against traditional defensive personnel. Most NFL teams go small to force defenses to adjust. But with a well-designed play, the advantage a capable receiving running back or tight end has against a linebacker is much greater than the average slot receiver has against an extra cornerback or safety. For fans who aren’t sure why the Packers wanted to keep Jimmy Graham, start here. The Packers will likely spend much more time with two tight ends on the field than they did last year, and much fewer with three or more receivers. In fact, the Titans played with two or fewer receivers last season 56% of the time. Part of that could be the guys they had, but the Falcons had talent at receiver past Julio Jones and still chose to play big. Reduce the need to add receivers in the offseason, fortify the tight end position in the draft http://www.packerslockerroom.com/authentic-dave-robinson-jersey , particularly with someone who can block, and this offense will take shape. Given the learning curve with young right ends—the position is widely considered among the most difficult to maser early on in the NFL—bringing back a capable blocker like Marcedes Lewis to go with Graham makes good sense for the Packers. Two tight end sets aren’t the only way to play big and provide an offense with matchup advantages using traditional player groupings. Last season, the Titans led the league in success rate with two running backs and two receivers on the field, what we call 21 personnel. They were successful 69% of the time, a pretty nice clip if you ask David Bakhtiari. It just so happens that two-back sets, whether a fullback and a running back or simply two running backs, were a preferred formation for that Falcons team as well. Atlanta ran 30% of their plays from it, their second-most used grouping, and also led the league in success rate. For the Packers, LaFleur could put Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams on the field at the same time (this is where someone like Ty Montgomery would have been extremely valuable), particularly with Williams skill as a blocker. They could also decide to invest in a pass-catching back in free agency or the draft to allow them to play multiple running backs who can line up wide and catch passes. This could also presage a return of the fullback in Green Bay. **Kuuuuuuuhhhhnnnnnn** Danny Vitale has outstanding physical tools. Brian Gutekunst may also look to the draft for an H-back type, one of the reasons so many fans are agitating for Iowa star T.J. Hockenson in the first round. There’s a chance he can be what Kyle Juszczyk was as a versatile blocker and receiver http://www.packerslockerroom.com/authentic-j_mon-moore-jersey , plus having the skill to split out wide like Austin Hooper for those Falcons teams. LaFleur isn’t bringing back the 2011 Packers sets with five wide and guys who can beat you everywhere. That was a unique situation given an incredible run of drafting by Ted Thompson. But don’t forget, that team often used a full-house backfield to keep linebackers on the field and take deep shots off play action with Jordy Nelson. That part of the ‘11 offense will be back in force. We can’t look at LaFleur’s past and make a one-for-one comparison to what he’ll do in Green Bay. The players are different. The situation is different. The quarterback is importantly different. He uses three-receiver sets more than Kyle Shanahan but far less than Sean McVay. He uses two-back sets more than McVay, but far less than Shanahan. How much of that was driven by the Titans’ personnel? We won’t know for sure until this team plays. But his past, and the offensive philosophy he brings, thrives on a particular type of matchup creation, utilizing tight ends and running backs to keep a defense guessing. That type of creative thinking had been sorely lacking under Mike McCarthy and, while this offense often won’t look “new” when it lines up, what happens next will keep defenses and fans on their toes.

The NFL rushing leader from Minnesota might have had his biggest plays in the passing game while easily outshining two-time rushing champion Ezekiel Elliott.Cook ran for 97 yards Stefon Diggs Jersey , including the go-ahead touchdown on fourth down on the final play of the third quarter, and had 86 yards receiving that boosted three other scoring drives, leading the Vikings over the Dallas Cowboys 28-24 on Sunday night.Cook's 183 scrimmage yards gave him the league lead in that category as well at 1,415 as the Vikings (7-3) beat a winning team on the road for the first time in almost two years. Minnesota was 0-9-1 in its previous 10 such games."Dalvin handled everything great," coach Mike Zimmer said. "He played outstanding. Had some unbelievable runs, tough, competitive runs. I think Dalvin believes that he's really good. I believe that too."Amari Cooper had the most circus catches on a night full of them for both teams, including a toe-tapping TD for Dallas' only lead in the third quarter.Kirk Cousins threw for two touchdown passes, both to Kyle Rudolph, for just his second victory in nine prime-time road games. But Minnesota's offensive star was Cook Harrison Smith Jersey , who set up the first two Minnesota touchdowns for a 14-0 lead with catches of 27 and 29 yards on screens and got a first down with an 8-yarder early on the third scoring drive."We thought it was going to be a challenge to get some explosive screens and get some explosive runs in this game to have a chance, and I think we checked those two boxes," Cousins said. "That's a big reason why we're standing here with a win instead of a loss."Elliott had 47 yards on 20 carries after three straight 100-yard games as the Cowboys (5-4) fell into a first-place tie with Philadelphia in the NFC East."From the standpoint of numbers, from the standpoint of where you stand, this was a big game for us, and it's going to make it that much harder to get where we want to go," Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said.Despite throwing for 397 yards and three touchdowns, Prescott lost to Cousins for the first time after going 4-0 against the former Washington quarterback as a division rival."We had to make them be one-dimensional," Zimmer said. "I wish we had played better in pass defense than what we did. I thought we did a really good job with our run fits and the way that we tackled."Cousins, who had 220 yards passing Dru Samia Minnesota Vikings Jerseys , beat the Cowboys for the second time in eight tries as the Vikings kept pace in the NFC North, a game behind division-leading Green Bay.Trailing by four in the final two minutes, the Cowboys had a first down at the Minnesota 19 but insisted on continuing to force the ball to Elliott when the Vikings had made it clear they were stopping him first. Two runs netted minus-3 yards, and the Cowboys went to Elliott again on fourth down even though it was a pass. Linebacker Eric Kendricks broke up the sideline throw to Elliott, a dual threat like Cook but not on this night. He had two catches for 16 yards. The Cowboys got the ball back with 17 seconds left, but Jayron Kearse intercepted Prescott's desperation pass from near midfield in the end zone.Dallas was down by four because of settling for a field goal and a 28-24 deficit after having a first down at the Minnesota 6. Another smothered run by Elliott was followed by two incompletions.RUDOLPH'S SCORINGRudolph started the night of circus catches with a one-handed grab in the back of the end zone and scored on another short TD toss. Then the tight end put Minnesota up 28-21 after Cook's scoring run by winning a jump ball with cornerback Chidobe Awuzie. Rudolph's 14 points were the most in 122 career games for the ninth-year player.CIRCUS TIMEWith the Cowboys trailing 14-0, Cooper kick-started their first TD drive with a heel-dragging catch on third-and-12, followed two plays later by Michael Gallup's 23-yard scoring grab. Then the player Dallas gave up a first-round pick for at midseason last year had two toe-dragging catches in a row, the second a 12-yard touchdown that put the Cowboys in front for the first time 21-20 in the third quarter. Cooper had 11 catches for 147 yards.Randall Cobb made a lunging catch in the end zone on a 22-yard touchdown catch to get Dallas even at 14.BLOWOUT ON GROUNDWhile Cook outgained Elliott by 120 scrimmage yards, the Vikings finished with 153 yards rushing to just 50 for the Cowboys. That's about 100 yards below Dallas' third-ranked rushing average.INJURIESVikings: RG Josh Kline was ruled out with a concussion in the second half.Cowboys: S Jeff Heath left with a shoulder injury in the first half.UP NEXTVikings: Denver at home next Sunday before their open week.Cowboys: At Detroit next Sunday. The battle lines are drawn between the Vikings and tight end Kyle Rudolph. They want him to take less money Minnesota Vikings Jerseys 2019 , and he doesn’t want to take less money.A trade doesn’t seem to be an option, because the Vikings have done everything but purchase billboard space outside Gillette Stadium advertising the eight-year veteran. But what if the Vikings, who want to dump or at least reduce Rudolph’s $7.275 million base salary, would be willing to utilize the fairly new trend of paying a portion of Rudolph’s salary to facilitate the move?It would be a simple formula. The Vikings pay, for example, $2 million, the new team pays $5.275 million, and the new team sends a low-round pick to Minnesota. It’s an alternative to cutting Rudolph and getting nothing, or to paying him the full $7.275 million for one last year.Ultimately, the team’s best play may be to keep Rudolph. Rookie Irv Smith is completely unproven Infant Dru Samia Jersey , and the depth chart behind him lacks a guy who can produce like the 6-6 football mattress who has an even more important role in an offense without a clear No. 3 receiver behind Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen. Here’s what the Vikings also could do: Wait. In time, they’ll see whether Smith can get it done. They’ll see whether Rudolph can still perform at a high level. And, ultimately, they’d be able to squeeze Rudolph with a proposed pay cut at a time when rosters elsewhere are set, offering him less than $7.275 million but more than anyone else would pay him at that point.Regardless, Rudolph has made it clear that the ball is in the team’s court. And the options are cut him, trade him (possibly by paying some of his salary), or wait to make a decision later.

final four teams in the postseason http://www.jetslockerroom.com/authentic-darron-lee-jersey , so no more mad scramble to the waiver wire. There are fewer owners vying for players, especially in leagues that only allow playoff teams to make additions.Plus, the majority of your starting lineup is likely set by now. Still, injuries and other situations can always cause you to dip into your depth. In leagues with three wide receiver slots, your third starter may not be a sure thing. There are still existing and potential needs that will exist, so keep working the waiver wire. KENNETH DIXON, RB, Ravens (2.7 percent owned): Just when fantasy owners were starting to get comfortable with Gus Edwards, Dixon returned from a long knee injury layoff and started cutting into Edwards' workload in a significant way in his second game back. Dixon had 59 rushing yards on eight carries and scored the team's only rushing touchdown. John Harbaugh said he also expects Dixon's role to grow. So he is a prime waiver add in case he usurps Edwards as the main fantasy producer. He could at least become a potential flex option for Week 16 with another quality outing.ELIJAH MCGUIRE, RB, Jets (11.3): A toe injury forced Isaiah Crowell out against Buffalo and the versatile sparkplug McGuire stepped in and totaled 83 yards from scrimmage and rushed for a TD. McGuire is not only speedy Jamison Crowder Jersey , he is physical and has the frame to fight for extra yardage at 5-10, 214 pounds. He could be the most talented RB on the Jets roster and has been an internal favorite for some time. If Crowell continues to miss time or is limited, McGuire has some upside.JOHN KELLY, RB, Rams (3.7): If you won despite Todd Gurley's disappointing Week 14 performance, you still need his direct handcuff in case he suffers an injury. Malcolm Brown is done for the season because of a clavicle injury, and now the rookie sixth-round pick is Gurley's apparent backup. Kelly flashed nifty moves and speed during the preseason and will likely become Los Angeles' lead runner in case of a Gurley injury.DANTE PETTIS, WR, 49ers (19.6): He was added in 17.3 percent of leagues last week, but he is still widely available and you have to check to see if he's on your waiver list. Pettis has scored four times in the past three games and has become the top playmaker in the 49ers passing game outside of George Kittle. This week he faces the Seahawks, who he burned for 129 yards and two scores in Week 14. Pettis had a 75-yard catch and run for a score in that matchup. You can instantly use him as a WR3.TIM PATRICK Womens Leonard Williams Jersey , WR, Broncos (0.6): He was a surprise as a featured target for Case Keenum in his first game without Emmanuel Sanders. Patrick was targeted 10 times, catching seven for 85 yards. He seemed to be Keenum's preferred target on many key passing downs. With another good outing this week, you may consider him for championship game usage against the Raiders in Week 16.ROBERT FOSTER, WR, Bills (1.2): Most fantasy players don't want to roster any Buffalo pass-catchers, especially during the playoffs. But dynamic rookie Josh Allen doesn't give up on any play and is always willing to throw to make things happen. Foster has become a frequent target for Allen in important situations and has made a quick leap from the practice squad to actual fantasy relevancy. Since Week 10 he has three 90-plus yard games and two 100-yard outings. If you remain desperate for WR help you have to consider Foster as a waiver add. He's an undrafted rookie, but the numbers are there.IAN THOMAS, TE, Panthers (25.5): Rookie tight ends have historically been huge gambles and often disappointments, but with Greg Olsen out http://www.jetslockerroom.com/authentic-doug-middleton-jersey , Thomas has fit nicely into the Carolina passing game in the past two weeks, He has caught 14 passes during that span with nine catches for 77 yards in Week 14. At the ultra-thin TE position, he becomes an immediate add, and may be the most sought-after waiver candidate of Week 14. Cam Newton was looking for him often as the Panthers tried to stay with the Browns in an ultimate loss last week, and he will likely continue to make him part of the regular offensive flow. He was targeted 11 times against Cleveland. The New York Jets will enter the 2019 season with a new coach, a new General Manager, new uniforms, and now a new team president.Neil Glat exited last week; the team has announced that senior V.P. and general counsel Hymie Elhai will become the new president. The 43-year-old Elhai joined the Jets in 2000, as an intern. He became the manager of legal affairs and business development in 2002.“For over 20 years Hymie has developed a deep level of respect from both sides of the building,” Jets CEO Christopher Johnson said in a press release. “Over that time, he has grown to be an invaluable and trusted confidant for many Brian Poole Jersey , including, in recent years, myself. Specifically, I witnessed first-hand, his leadership, communication and organizational acumen during our recent head coach and General Manager searches. I expect Hymie to be a key unifier, working alongside Adam [Gase] and Joe [Douglas], for our organization moving forward.”The Jets also have announced that Brian Friedman has been promoted from Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.Glat remains with the team. He will become a Senior Adviser.

the team’s offense didn’t get a chance to enter the field during overtime in the AFC Championship http://www.patriotslockerroom.com/authentic-malcolm-mitchell-jersey , because the Patriots won the toss, took the ball, drove down the field, scored a touchdown, and won the game.Appearing recently on #PFTPM, Kelce opted for acceptance over anger with the outcome.“You can say it’s frustrating,” Kelce said. “It’s the way the game played out. Those are the rules, the rules are the rules, you know that going into overtime. You’ve just got to lean on your defense or your teammates to try and come up with a few plays and get you the ball back. But hats off the to the Patriots for what they did. They stuck it out. The moved the ball down field and sure enough they won the game because of it.”Given that the Chiefs would like to change the rules, Kelce was asked for his position on a possible adjustment that would guarantee a possession for the team that kicks off to start overtime.“I’m here and there about it,” Kelce said. “It is what it is. The rules are the rules at this point. So whatever it is, we’ve just got to find a way to win.”The rules are indeed the rules Dwayne Allen Jersey , and the rules could be changing later this month, particularly for the playoffs. We’ll possibly have more on that later tonight. As Bill Belichick put it during his postgame press conference Sunday, filling in for Patrick Chung means “one thing in dime and another thing in nickel and another thing in regular.”And oftentimes for the New England Patriots, it meant safety Terrence Brooks.Brooks saw 48 percent of the defensive work against the Philadelphia Eagles. The March signing did so after Chung had been downgraded to out the day prior due to heel and chest injuries.A Patriots-leading seven solo tackles arrived along with the 17-10 win at Lincoln Financial Field.“He’s shown his versatility to play in the box, to play in the deep part of the field,” Belichick said, “to play man, to play zone, to play different spots in the zone depending on the formation and what coverage is called and so forth. He’s been a really good addition for us.”Brooks would be credited with a pair of hits on quarterback Carson Wentz and a pair of breakups on passes intended for wideout Nelson Agholor and tight end Dallas Goedert. And when tasked with covering with Eagles Pro Bowler Zach Ertz, completions of one yard, nine yards, 11 yards and 12 yards were the result.Ertz finished Sunday with nine catches for 94 yards in all against the New England defense. But Brooks Womens Vincent Valentine Jersey , who has cut his NFL teeth on special teams, continued to not look out of place within it.“He played a lot [Sunday], and I thought he played well,” Belichick added during his weekly appearance on WEEI’s Ordway, Merloni & Fauria. “He tackled well. He was around the ball and did a good job in a lot of areas. He had some tough coverage responsibilities. He was very competitive in those.”Brooks originally entered the league as a Baltimore Ravens third-round draft pick in 2014. A total of 234 defensive snaps followed for the Florida State product as a rookie. This season in New England has marked his most since then.SNAPS BY SEASON2014 – 11 games: 234 on defense, 120 on special teams2015 – 12 games: 65 on defense, 267 on special teams2016 – 11 games: 3 on defense, 165 on special teams2017 – 15 games: 92 on defense, 292 on special teams2018 – 16 games: 69 on defense, 392 on special teams2019 – 10 games: 214 on defense, 132 on special teamsClaimed by the Eagles in 2016, then traded to the New York Jets in 2017 http://www.patriotslockerroom.com/authentic-danny-shelton-jersey , Brooks signed a two-year, $3.25 million contract with the Patriots on the opening day of the 2019 league year.Brooks now stands two tackles away from tying his career high. He intercepted his fourth career pass last month versus the Jets, marking his first since being named AFC Defensive Player of Week with them. The résumé includes one start.“When a new player comes to the team, there’s really no set role for anybody. Everybody earns their roles based on their performance,” Belichick said of Brooks. “So, we just don’t hand out playing time and hand out roles. When players play well enough to earn those opportunities, and then ultimately those responsibilities, then that’s because they’ve performed well and they’ve done it.”

As of Tuesday Nate Solder Jerseys 2019 , the news was somewhat positive.Lorenzen’s family issued the following statement to Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio: “Jared’s overnight was uneventful and that is a good thing. He remains on dialysis. He continues to maintain his ground. His cardiac and renal issues remain, however his treatment has been effective. Let’s check the headlines as the Giants and Detroit Lions get set for Day 2 of joint practices.Curtis Riley making push for starting safety job At the start of training camp, the Giants were rotating Curtis Riley, Darian Thompson, Andrew Adams and Michael Thomas at free safety. Over time, it has become apparent that the competition for the starting spot is really between Thompson and Riley.Right now, it’s a one-horse race. With Riley nursing a hamstring injury last week, Thompson got to start vs. the Cleveland Browns. He didn’t play particularly well, and he is now on the shelf with his own hamstring injury. Riley is back, working with the first team, and a strong showing Friday against the Detroit Lions could cement his spot as the starter.“I just got to keep being consistent Kareem Martin Jerseys 2019 , doing everything I’m doing right now,” Riley said on Tuesday. “Got to make sure I’m making all the right calls; I can’t go out there having technical errors and stuff like that. Just got to be consistent, that’s the main thing.”An undrafted player, Riley spent two years as a reserve cornerback with the Tennessee Titans. He came to the Giants this season, and they moved him to the safety spot. He impressed in the spring, and now has a golden opportunity in front of him.“I’ve never seen something like it, never been a part of it, never heard of it,” Riley said of the four-way free safety competition. “But it’s good, though. It’s a good thing to always have competition Youth Kyle Lauletta Jerseys , that’s what the NFL is about. We got to come every day and compete, because if I show up and I’m on a roller coaster of being good or bad and being down one day, that’s not good, because that could lead to a big play. I got to make sure I’m consistent every day. We’re all battling, they’re making sure they are consistent every day, and we leave it up to the coaches and the upstairs (football decision-makers).”A good performance this week by Riley could put the competition to rest.Shurmur: Beckham “did great”Odell Beckham Jr. participated extensively in team and individual drills on Monday.“He did great,” Shurmur said. “You’ve watched him all summer here, competing at practice. If you create the same setting, it’s just against a different team, then you’re just out there practicing Kyle Lauletta Jerseys Stitched , and that’s what he did.”Wayne Gallman: “Competition makes you better”Second-year running back Wayne Gallman is looking for a role in a backfield that will include No. 2 overall pick Saquon Barkley and an accomplished veteran in Jonathan Stewart. Shurmur said Tuesday that he is “gaining an appreciation for what he is as a runner, a pass catcher, and a blocker.”Gallman is just trying to get better.“The competition makes you better,” he said. “You want competition regardless of the fact even if you were the starter and everyone down the list weren’t going to start at any time, but still you want that competition in terms of being a better player for yourself. Also, you want that competition because you know you’re going to have competition throughout the year and wanting to be the best running back corps in the league.”Injury listOLB Connor Barwin (soreness), running back Saquon Barkley (hamstring), cornerback Donte Deayon (hamstring), tight end Ryan O’Malley (ankle), linebacker Thurston Armbrister (hamstring) Corey Ballentine Jersey Boys , and wide receiver Travis Rudolph (quad) did not practice Monday.Around the Inter-GooglePFF's Preseason Week 1 NFL Team of the Week | NFL Analysis | Pro Football FocusPFF's NFL Team of the Week highlights the outstanding play of individuals at every position over the course of the first full week of preseason action in the NFL.2018 Play of the Week – Rookie Preseason Edition | Football Beyond The StatsGame: 3 Various Plays (Cle/NYG, LAR/Bal, Min/Den) Play: Rookies finding their movement ways early What makes this the BTS Play of the Week? beat the elements yesterday. They think they convinced a very good defense that trying to stop them was a bad idea. After yesterday’s breakout rushing game (218 rushing yards as a team) Darryl Johnson NFL Draft , running back Jordan Howard said he could tell they had broken the Bills at a certain point.“We were able to wear the defense down,” Jordan Howard said, via Reuben Frank of NBCSportsPhiladelphia.com. “You could tell at the end of the game they really didn’t want to tackle us.”The 218 yards rushing were the most under coach Doug Pederson, and a clear statement of intent. On a day when the winds in Buffalo made throwing and kicking an adventure, the Eagles chose to weatherproof the game. In the second half, they ran 26 times, against just seven passes Darryl Johnson Buffalo Bills Jersey , bleeding the clock while beating down the Bills.Howard had 23 carries for 96 yards and a touchdown Miles Sanders added 74 (including a 65-yard burst), and Boston Scott scored the third touchdown. Carson Wentz also had 35 yards worth of scrambles, as he joined in the chain-moving. It suggested the running game might be a reliable part of their plan moving forward, but they haven’t been consistent with it so far.“Whenever we kind of start half-assed we can’t kind of do what we want on offense,” right tackle Lane Johnson said. “Those are situations you don’t want to be in. . . . We knew we wanted to run it today. Miles started it all with that big gash and momentum got going. Conditions weren’t ideal for throwing it, but we stuck to it and we went gash for gash. Better day than we had in a long time.”Doing it against a Bills defense that was allowing just 91 yards per game on the ground also gave them confidence, that they can continue to run this way against any defense they’re going to see. The Cowboys looked like they were going to respond Thursday after Jerry Jones spent the week criticizing the coaching staff. They scored the first touchdown Youth Shaq Lawson Jerseys , marching right down the field in their best opening drive of the season. The Bills, though, scored the next two touchdowns.Jason Garrett and his Cowboys appear in trouble, down 13-7 at halftime.Dak Prescott has two turnovers. He had two others negated by Bills’ penalties. He has completed 16 of 23 passes for 156 yards and an 8-yard touchdown to Jason Witten. Bills defensive tackle Star Lotulelei has an interception of Prescott, and rookie Ed Oliver had a strip sack.Oliver returned to his home state and has two sacks, four tackles, a pass defensed and a forced fumble. The Cowboys were booed off their own field after Brett Maher had a 35-yard field goal blocked by Lotulelei on the final play of the half. The Cowboys took no shots to the end zone on their final possession Shaq Lawson Jerseys Stitched , and Garrett went to the locker room with a timeout in his pocket. The Bills are rolling toward a ninth victory.Cole Beasley scored on a 25-yard touchdown against his former team, and Devin Singletary added a 28-yard touchdown on a trick play as receiver John Brown threw the pass. Stephen Hauschka missed his second extra point attempt.Josh Allen is 8-of-12 for 101 yards and the touchdown to Beasley, who has three catches for 73 yards. The Cowboys are 0-5 when trailing at the half this season, and, of course, are 0-4 against teams with winning records.

Womens Marwin Evans Jersey , leading to another mock draft with Jachai Polite and T.J. Hockenson in the first round."Entering the 2019 offseason, the Green Bay Packers have several obvious needs. That has led to many similar-looking mock drafts, including the latest from SB Nation’s Dan Kadar. Both of the packs Kadar projects for Green Bay involve positions and players that readers have come to expect.Matching the Packers with LSU’s Jachai Polite makes plenty of sense. The defense needs to generate more pressure off the edges and Polite could slide into Mike Pettine’s scheme and make an instant impact. Pass rushers with Polite’s profile tend to hit, so the team would only need to clear him off the field to minimize risk. The Packers need to revamp their tight-end group this offseason (more on that later this week), and landing a prospect like T.J. Hockenson could jumpstart that process. The Iowa product would walk into Green Bay as the team’s best blocking tight end as well as a quality pass catcher. In Matt LaFleur’s offense, he makes a ton of sense. Stay up-to-date with all the Packers-related news from day two of the draft tonight."After the Green Bay Packers focused on their defense on the first day of the 2019 NFL Draft, Friday came and saw the team select a pair of offensive players. Mississippi State lineman Elgton Jenkins, the team’s second-round pick, looks like a ready-made starter at guard as a rookie, and will surely be in the mix to start on day one. In round three, general manager Brian Gutekunst tabbed Texas A&M’s Jace Sternberger as the team’s tight end of the future Justin Vogel Jersey White , evidently thrilled that he was still available with the 75th selection. As the third and final day of the draft gets underway, the Packers hold four selections between rounds four and seven. The team’s two fourth-round picks left on Thursday when Gutekunst traded up to select safety Darnell Savage — a move that Gutekunst felt was critical, saying that he knew for a fact that Savage would not have fallen to the Packers at 30.One possibility there is that the Ravens, who held the 22nd pick, were in on Savage. That seems plausible (particularly given the fact that Baltimore immediately traded down after the Packers selected Savage), and there is reason to believe that the Packers would have some level of insight into what Baltimore was looking for. After all, Gutekunst’s new right-hand man, Milt Hendrickson, worked in the Ravens’ personnel department through the end of the 2018 season. He would certainly have some ideas as to what players the Ravens would have been considering there.Day three gets underway at 11:00 AM Central, and keep an eye on the Packers as a potential trade-up candidate into the fourth round. There are still a handful of surprising players remaining on the board, names like Chauncey Gardner-Johnson Womens Muhammad Wilkerson Jersey , Hakeem Butler, and Amani Hooker. On Thursday Infant Blessuan Austin Jersey , Jets running back Le'Veon Bell said that four teams had talked to the Jets about trading for him: the Texans, Chiefs, Packers, and Steelers. On Sunday, ESPN reported that Bell was telling the truth.Adam Schefter of ESPN, citing unnamed sources, reports that the Texans, Chiefs, Packers, and Steelers explored trading for Bell. (Although Schefter mentions that Bell said himself that the Steelers were “in the mix,” the item from Schefter doesn’t mention that Bell also flagged the Texans, Chiefs Blessuan Austin Jersey Draft , and Packers as interested teams.)It’s kind of a strange situation, to say the least. Given, however, that some expressed skepticism that Bell was being honest or accurate as to the teams that tried to trade for him, it apparently made sense to confirm that Bell’s version of the events was accurate.Bell’s comments from Thursday seemed to suggest that a new team may have wanted Bell to rework a contract that will pay him $27 million fully guaranteed through 2020. Bell made it clear that he would not have reduced his expected pay.And so he remains with the Jets, presumably since he’s due to make half of the $27 million next season — and since no other team may be willing to pay him $13.5 million in 2020. In 2014 when he was being recruited he picked the Broncos over a USC grayshirt offer. A grayshirt offer is when you sit out in the fall and enroll on scholarship the following spring. He chose Boise State because he was expected to push for immediate playing time as a true freshman for the Broncos in 2014.Shortly before he was set to leave for Boise he found out that his ACT score didn’t qualify, and he’d be academically ineligible that fall. Frazier was allowed to enroll at Boise State on scholarship, but he couldn’t be around the team. He was not allowed to attend practices or meetings, and he wasn’t allowed to be in the weight room when his teammates were there. He was forced to work out at odd hours early in the morning or late at night. You have to realize this is a kid from Los Angeles who at 18 moved to Idaho to play football. He had only two people that were friends, but they were both on the team so he couldn’t visit with them. “It was really hard, honestly Blessuan Austin NFL Jersey ,” Frazier said. “It was so tough. I couldn’t be around the team. I’d go lift for one hour and then go back to the dorms. Moving here and having two friends and not being able to ever see them, it was just really hard for me. I would talk to my parents every day and they just kept telling me to fight through it. It felt like the longest four months of my life, but I got through it.”To throw salt into the wound, he was on academic redshirt and that season counted as a year of eligibility. Plus he had to earn a 2.8 grade-point average to become eligible for the following year. Not being the most gifted student this was a trying task for Frazier, but he persevered and became eligible the following year. He played in 6 games as a freshman at the STUD position which is a hybrid OLB/DE who is on the line but rushes the passer and also drops into coverage. In 2016 he played in 12 games with 38 tackles, 4 TFL and 4 sacks, but he played most of the year with shoulder, ankle and knee injuries which all needed surgery. He finally gave into the pain before the Cactus Bowl. He was supposed to spread the surgeries out, but he elected to have them all at once. “I wanted to do it just to get it out of the way,” Frazier said. “I was like ‘I might as well just do it all at one time and recover at one time,’ but once I did it and I was in that wheelchair, I was like ‘maybe that wasn’t a good idea.’” He missed spring practice and was not cleared to play until just before fall camp.“It was not a wonderful experience Blessuan Austin NFL Draft ,” Frazier said. “But I’m happy to experience that because it definitely humbled me and made me more grateful for a lot of things, especially football. His teammates appreciated all the struggles and hardships Frazier had been through and voted him one of the three permanent captains during his senior year. “I think it’s a story of hard work, I really do,” Boise State coach Bryan Harsin said. “To overcome the adversity of sitting there and having to watch that entire first season and to go out there to prepare yourself to play and get on the field and then being injured … I think Jabril is in a good place now. I think he understands what it takes to be successful, and I think he understands that no matter how high he reaches right now and what level he’s at, he still has to get better and that it could be taken away from him too. There’s an appreciation for his opportunities.”I have watched 6 games of this kid, and he will need a serious infusion of intensity along with technical training to be effective. He has good size but is an average athlete at best, He had a 4.79/40, 30.5” vert and did 22 reps on the bench with 33 1/2” arms.He is not an instinctual player and is literally awful out in space. He had zero INTs and 4 passes defended in 4 years. He had 18 total sacks in 43 games, but I never saw him once beat a tackle to get one.He had 24.5 TFL in that time. Here is on. He is untouched on his way in from the edge. The video is quite self-explanatory. The only question remains is why the QB didn’t pitch the ball. The back is open with no one around him. It’s as if he just forgot the play. This was a gift TFL for Frazier. Here is a gift sack for Frazier when the offensive line forgets what its blocking assignments are on the play. He is playing the RDE position, and the line gets confused when the ROLB blitzes on the play. The TE who is in the slot kind of gives Frazier a handshake as he goes out into the flat, but it was the LT job to pick up Frazier on the play. This next play is the best play I saw Frazier make in 6 games. He is the LDE at the bottom of the screen Blessuan Austin Buffalo Bills Jersey , and he is again going up against a TE on the play. Once the ball is snapped the TE gets some help by the running back, but that back is Justice Hill who is really fast but is under 200 lbs with little to no power. This is the only time I saw him use a spin move, and it was very effective. Frazier can have violent hands at times but rarely uses them. His rush counters are almost non \existent (save for this spin move), and he really doesn’t show a great plan of attack before the snap.Everything appears to be spontaneously made up at the instant it occurs. The same play from another angle. At least this play shows you he has some talent to work with for a DL or LB coach to build upon. You will even see him occasionally run down plays from behind, but they are too far in between for a NFL player. Unless the play is right in front of him he will seem confused as to a plan of action. This next clip is the type of effort you see far too often. He is #8, the player who is on the top of the screen near the 20 on the field. The play is being run to his side of the field, but he takes the outside route and has to run himself into a blocker (who is blocking someone else at the time) to have any contact on the play. He needs to read that play and attack by the hash where the play is. If the RB had broken through the tackle he was nowhere close to a position to affect a tackle. This next play is befuddling to me as he is the RDE who has contain responsibilities on the play but crashes down instead of holding his ground. He doesn’t read the play at all. This is a read option, and he has to guard the edge. He crashes down and tries to tackle the lead blocker. He wasn’t even faked the ball. Why would you do that? He took himself out of the play to attack a player who was never an offensive threat on the play, just puzzling. On this last play the ball is run directly at Frazier’s gap, but he is taken out easily by the pulling guard. It’s a simple trap play that he has to be more aware of and step inside that block or stack the guard to make the tackle on the play. The guard just drops him to the ground and keeps moving downfield like he was a tackling dummy. He has to use his hands much better in that situation to keep the guard off him so he can step into the hole and make the play. SummeryFrazier will need a complete rebuild of his technical skill set and film study with a coach to make him more effective on the field. I doubt a coach will allot that kind of time to a UDFA unless he sees some kind of spark from the player. He has good size, but he is sort of a tweener because he is not strong enough to play as a DE in the NFL and has tight hips which would make it difficult for him to play in space. In my opinion unless Frazier has a miraculous transformation in a few short months I don’t see how he survives the first cut if he makes it even that far.

Rebilas-USA TODAY SportsEntering the second day of the 2019 NFL draft, no team holds more than eleven picks. The one team to own this much capital? That would be the reigning world champions. After drafting N’Keal Harry with the 32nd overall selection yesterday, the New England Patriots still hold a league-high eleven picks — five of which coming up later today: the Patriots own two second-rounders (#56 and #64) and three third-round picks (#73, #97, #101).Of course Infant Joejuan Williams Jersey , volume and value are not the same when it comes to draft picks. Enter the value chart system which assigns a number to each available draft choice based on its overall worth as an asset. Here at Pats Pulpit, we usually work with the one created and maintained by Rich Hill — but his is not the only one out there used to assess how much capital a team really owns heading into the different draft rounds. No matter on what basis the remaining six rounds of 2019’s player selection meeting get analyzed, though, one thing stands out: the Patriots and their eleven picks are generally near the top of the list when it comes to total value. A look at the chart comparison compiled by René Bugner shows that New England either comes in as the team with the second or the third most valuable capital left:J.J. = Jimmy Johnson; C.S. = Chris Chase; R.H. = Rich Hill; J.F. = Jason FitzgeraldGraphic by René BugnerAs can be seen, there are only slight differences between the four charts when it comes to values and rankings — the Baltimore Ravens being one noticeable outlier. One conclusion that can therefore be drawn from the graphic above is that the Patriots are in a prime position to manipulate the board to their liking over the next two days Joejuan Williams Jersey Draft , and especially considering the picks they hold heading into Friday’s event. What put them in this position was not only some smart trades made last year — the 56th and 73rd selections were picked up via 2018 draft day trades with the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions, respectively — but also the NFL’s compensatory draft picks formula. As a result of losing some high-priced players in free agency last year, New England was awarded the maximum four additional picks. Two of them come at the end of the third round. With compensatory selections being tradable since the 2017 draft, the extra selections have received added value. The ever savvy Patriots have been taking advantage of this, and 2019 is no exception. Their two third-rounders are a big reason for the valuable draft picks portfolio they still own at this point Joejuan Williams NFL Jersey , and the flexibility it gives them. Which players interest you?"NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah spoke about the upcoming 2019 NFL Draft and answered a few questions about the New England Patriots. Jeremiah believes that the Patriots’ advantage of having both Bill Belichick and Tom Brady atop the franchise makes it easier for other pieces to fall into place- and what pieces they should be looking for.Jeremiah also added another Patriots tidbit when discussing the Iowa tight ends. He believes that T.J. Hockenson is a top 15 pick, while Fant is the player more likely to be available for New England. There’s a fair question whether or not Fant makes sense for the Patriots who, despite his exemplary physical abilities, was not considered an every-down tight end by Belichick confidant and Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz. Perhaps waiting for a Smith or Jace Sternberger in the second round would make more economic sense than taking Fant in the first.Jeremiah also discussed three midround quarterbacks that could be available for the Patriots in Duke’s Daniel Jones, N.C. State’s Ryan Finley Joejuan Williams NFL Draft , and Auburn’s Jarrett Stidham, and whether the Patriots might be more interested in acquiring draft capital for next year’s draft class.Personally, I would take Finley over the other two players, even if they were all on the board at the same time. I have a third round grade on both Jones and Finley and think Finley is a better prospect, albeit a relatively limited one (high-end back-up caliber). And Joejuan Williams Buffalo Bills Jersey , honestly, I think a player like Will Grier would be a better addition than any of those three and would be willing to take him in the second round, just like they did with Jimmy Garoppolo. Tight end and quarterback are both positions of import for the Patriots and Jeremiah’s feedback is helpful to paint a picture of the draft landscape. New England will not be able to get the top tier talent at either position. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t good players that will be available later in the draft.

With the Giants traveling back from Carolina tonight — and with some possibly not fully aware of his performance from the ESPN interview — there’s a chance that one or more of them will have something to say, on or off the record, over the next day or so.The fact that the Giants have to quickly refocus on a short-week game against the Eagles could make it easer for the Giants to avoid a rash of reports regarding players who think that Beckham went too far. ESTShareTweetShareShareCould Texas Tech’s Dakota Allen bring some much-needed speed to the Giants’ linebacking corps?Michael C. Johnson-USA TODAY SportsThe nature of offense is changing in the NFL. Thanks to a number of influences, offenses are adopting a number of strategies and concepts from the college ranks, relying on on spacing and speed to stress defenses. And as a natural response, the NFL defense has had to adjust, most notably by getting smaller, faster, and more flexible than in years past. The New York Giants need to upgrade the talent at every level of their defense, which includes adding more speed to the middle of their defense. They were gashed by running backs and tight ends over the middle, and the team could be looking to upgrade UDFA nickel linebacker Tae Davis. If so, Texas Tech’s Dakota Allen could be the athletic coverage and blitzing linebacker the team has lacked. MeasurablesProsHighly athletic linebacker. Flies around the field when he commits.Aggressive, fiery blitzer. Hard hitter and physical taking blockers.Fluid dropping into zone coverage, able to run with pass catchers in man coverage.Shows the ability to “click and close”. Reacts quickly to the offense.ConsDoesn’t appear to be overly instinctive. Can get caught up in the trash.Struggles to shed blockers. Was dismissed from TTU in 2016 after being arrested for burglary (charges were dismissed)Prospect VideoWhat They’re Saying Allen is an inside linebacker with good toughness and intangibles but lacks the speed and instincts teams look for in the middle. He plays with good short-area quickness and a willingness to stick his nose into oncoming traffic in order to leverage his gap and set his teammates up for success. With adequate athleticism and the potential to become a core special teamer White B.J. Hill Jerseys , Allen could hear his name called in the later rounds of the draft.- Lance Zierlein (NFL.com - Scouting Report)Does He Fit The Giants? If the Giants want to upgrade Tae Davis and add a “new age” athletic linebacker to their defense, Dakota Allen would be a good choice. He has the kind of range and speed the Giants have lacked in the middle of their defense, with the athleticism to drop into both man and zone coverage. He is also a capable run defender when the defensive line does a good job of occupying blockers, and flies downhill when asked to blitz. While Allen is quick to react to the offense, he isn’t the most instinctive defender and that can be used against him. He can be prone to being manipulated by offensive misdirection, and might be best suited to being a sub-package player to start his career -- though he might be able to grow into a larger role. The NFL will want to do an in-depth background check on him after he was dismissed from Texas Tech back in 2016 after being arrested for burglary (including the theft of firearms). The charges were eventually dismissed, and he earned his way back to Texas Tech in 2017 after enrolling in East Mississippi Community College. At EMCC he racked up 117 tackles, which he followed up with 175 tackles, 8.5 for a loss, and 6 passes defensed in 2017 and 2018 since returning to Texas Tech. Assuming Allen doesn’t have any lingering character concerns, the Giants could make good use of one of their many day three picks by selecting him. His athleticism and physicality would be welcome on both the Giants’ defense and their special teams.

The Indianapolis Colts will look to capitalize on the veteran’s rustiness Trent Murphy Jerseys 2019 , as Anderson only signed with the Bills twelve days ago.Anderson spent the last seven seasons with the Carolina Panthers, and he threw 157 passes in that time span. He hasn’t started a game since Week 12 of the 2016 season (and in that game, he only started because Cam Newton didn’t wear a necktie on the team flight—yes, seriously—and he threw one pass, which was intercepted, before Newton replaced him). Anderson has not started and finished a game since October 10, 2016, a 17-14 loss against the Atlanta Falcons in which Anderson threw for 278 yards and 2 interceptions. from afar. He got to see them up close on Sunday Chris Hubbard Color Rush Jersey , and he could be starting to realize that no other team is like the Patriots, especially not the Browns. After Sunday’s loss at New England, Beckham bemoaned the fact that the ball wasn’t thrown his way more often.“I just felt like we didn’t challenge as much as we could have,” Beckham told reporters in reference to cornerback Stephon Gilmore holding Beckham to five catches for 52 yards on seven targets. “I think we kind of shied away from it. I was expecting and looking forward to it, but that wasn’t the case today. We had a couple plays, but for whatever reason we didn’t do as much challenging as we talked about. Other than that whatever came my way, pretty much I caught. Whatever opportunities I had I made the most of them. You can only control what you can control.”That’s the downside of adding a star receiver who: (1) wants the ball often; and (2) isn’t shy about saying so. Especially if the team isn’t winning. If the team is winning, complaining about not getting the ball more comes off as selfish. If the team isn’t winning, the player can find cover in the simple notion that, if he’d gotten the ball more, maybe the team would have won.For the season, Beckham has 34 catches (tied for 33rd in the league) for 488 yards (23rd) and one touchdown (tied for 92nd). That’s not the impact that the Browns or Beckham envisioned, and it’s not the season that anyone envisioned for Cleveland. While the schedule does indeed soften https://www.brownsfanshop.com/Seth-Devalve-Jersey , the margin for error is becoming narrower; the Browns basically have to finish 7-2 to have a shot at getting to the playoffs. And Beckham, who may spend some of the next 30 hours wishfully thinking that he’ll be getting a call from Browns G.M. Dean Lowry Jersey , the Green Bay Packers gave their fans some good news on the injury front for Thursday night’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. That news is that outside linebacker Za’Darius Smith is in the lineup and will play in tonight’s game.Smith apparently suffered a minor knee injury in Tuesday’s practice as the team prepared for this game on a short week. He was listed as a limited participant on the Tuesday and Wednesday injury reports, and the team tabbed him as questionable for the game on Wednesday. That set off some alarm bells, as his versatility and pass-rush ability — he leads the NFL in individual quarterback pressures — would be a challenge to replace. However, Smith is active for the game, and should start. This is great news, as the Packers will have their full complement of edge rushers this evening. In total, only two preferred starters are missing for this game: defensive lineman Montravius Adams and inside linebacker Oren Burks, both of whom were listed as out on Wednesday’s report.Philly is not so lucky, but they have no surprises on their inactive report either. been the day for the Seattle Seahawks (8-6) to clinch a playoff spot by beating the San Francisco 49ers (4-10). Instead they committed a ton of penalties George Fant Color Rush Jersey , played sloppy football, went overly conservative, and deservedly lost 26-23 despite two touchdowns by Doug Baldwin and a 100+ yard performance by Chris Carson.Special Teams was a huge liability with a missed PAT by Sebastian Janikowski, a kick return for a touchdown, multiple penalties on returns, a muffed kick by Tyler Lockett, it was all a disaster.1st HalfThe 49ers received the ball and went three-and-out, although the Seahawks dodged a bullet when Nick Mullens overthrew an open George Kittle on 3rd and 2. Seattle started off with great field position and took advantage right away, as a great Tyler Lockett double move on 3rd down led to a 28-yard gain to San Francisco’s 25. Chris Carson converted on a 3rd and 1 on a toss play to the 49ers’ 6. On 3rd and goal at the 5, Russell Wilson found Doug Baldwin on the fade for the score. 6-0 Seahawks after the missed PAT.The joy was short-lived, as Richie James Jr took the ensuing kick back for a touchdown. 97 yards with not much trouble. 7-6 49ers.A punt from the 49ers 40 on 4th and short pinned them at the 1. A fumbled snap in the end zone was negated by a Jarran Reed offsides penalty. The Niners had success moving the ball down the field, but a big run by Jeff Wilson Jr ended in a fumble forced by Bradley McDougald and recovered by Tre Flowers at the Seattle 28.Seattle gave up a 98-yard touchdown drive with ease, as Nick Mullens beat blitzes and found gaping holes in the secondary, including a 41-yard strike to Garrett Celek as Tedric Thompson slipped. 14-6 49ers.The Seahawks offense struck back courtesy of a 24-yard run by Chris Carson on a toss play, followed shortly by a ridiculous Russell Wilson scramble play to Doug Baldwin for a 35-yard score. 14-13 49ers.Nick Mullens again sliced apart a poor Seahawks defense Rashaad Penny Color Rush Jersey , but Tre Flowers made a great 3rd down pass break-up in the red-zone to hold the 49ers to a field goal, which would be the halftime score. 17-13 49ers.2nd HalfThe two teams alternated punts to start the 2nd half, but then the Seahawks defense and special teams gifted the 49ers literally 45 yards of penalties on the way to the red zone. An unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on Jeff Wilson Jr basically killed a potential TD drive and forced them into a field goal. 20-13 49ers. Seattle’s offense finally got into gear again through the run game, as Chris Carson hit a couple of big chunk plays. They got all the way down to the 49ers’ 1 but couldn’t punch it in on three downs. On 4th and goal, Chris Carson was stuffed... until he wasn’t. He kept his legs churning and got some help from Duane Brown to break the plane to tie the game in the 4th quarter. 20-20.Nick Mullens wasted no time finding Dante Pettis deep for a huge gain on Shaquill Griffin. A debatable DPI on Delano Hill then got them out of a 1st and 20 jam. Luckily the Seahawks defense held firm after that and forced Robbie Gould to come onto the field, but he converted his 45-yard field goal. 23-20 49ers.A generous roughing the passer penalty gave the Seahawks free 15 yards on the first play of the potential go-ahead drive. On 3rd down, Doug Baldwin got a free release and Wilson found him for 27 yards deep into 49ers territory. Unfortunately a crucial holding on JR Sweezy negated a Mike Davis first-down run, and Wilson was sacked on 3rd down but still in FG range. Seabass from 48... GOOD. 23-23 with 5:21 left. The Seahawks pass rush showed up in a big way on the next possession, getting a sack and two pressures on Mullens to force a three-and-out. Germain Ifedi committed a bad holding penalty on a 3rd down conversion by Mike Davis, which led to the Seahawks punting right back. Jarran Reed had a big sack after the Niners converted a first-down.After a Trent Taylor drop, Reed came through with another sack to force the punt. Unfortunately, Malik Turner had a penalty on the punt return that cost them some field position with 1:38 to go at their own 27.First play was a short dumpoff to Mike Davis. Another Davis checkdown got them to their own 43 with 1:02 to go. A big Davis run led to another holding penalty. The 2nd and 15 pass was incomplete. The deep ball to David Moore was incomplete, so overtime it is. OvertimeTyler Lockett inexcusably took the kickoff out of the end zone, fumbling it and then picking it up before getting wrecked at his own 15. JD McKissic got a big catch on 3rd down towards midfield... but a holding negated it. Ethan Pocic again. That meant a punt and the 49ers getting the ball at their own 39.After a massive hit by Poona Ford, Shaquill Griffin was flagged for DPI. A couple of runs by Jeff Wilson put them into FG range inside the 20. They brought on Robbie Gould for the game-winning field goal from 36 yards out...good. 26-23 49ers.Seahawks injury reportRB Mike Davis limped off the field at the end of the 1st half but returned to the game in the 3rd quarter.S Bradley McDougald suffered a knee injury in the 1st half and did not return.G Jordan Simmons went down in the 3rd quarter with a knee injury and was replaced by Ethan Pocic.RB Chris Carson took a hard hit from Richard Sherman in the 4th quarter. His injury was not disclosed but he did return. Next week’s opponentThe Seahawks play on Sunday Night Football on December 23rd against the Kansas City Chiefs (11-3) at 5:20 PM PT on NBC. When the NFL announced its Pro Bowl rosters on Tuesday evening Doug Baldwin Color Rush Jersey , only two members of the Seattle Seahawks made the squad, All Universe linebacker Bobby Wagner and rookie phenom punter Michael Dickson. Of the multiple Seahawks who made the team as alternates, one of the players who received the most outcry about having been snubbed is Frank Clark, who is an alternate, but is not a starter. Thus, the question becomes, was he snubbed? Fans of the Hawks (and other teams) reacted on social media and elsewhere regarding the omission of Clark from the NFC squad. Here’s a sampling of some of the reaction on Twitter: So, obviously, multiple fans think Clark was snubbed, so let’s turn to the stats and see. There’s no doubt that Clark is easily having the best season of his young NFL career, as he has been a terror for opposing quarterbacks all season, recording 12 sacks and 21 quarterback hits. How does that compare to the three defensive ends that made the NFC Pro Bowl team? Frank Clark and Pro Bowl DEs rushing the passer in 2018PlayerSacksQB HitsTotal PressureSnaps PlayedPlayerSacksQB HitsTotal PressureSnaps PlayedSo, by those measures Clark is certainly in the discussion for being in place when it comes time for the Pro Bowl to announce the players who made it. However, these are obviously all numbers that are accumulated in the passing game, so the question follows C. J. Prosise Color Rush Jersey , where does Clark stack up when it comes to making plays in the running game, and here we start to see some separation between Clark and the other players. Frank Clark and Pro Bowl DEs against the run in 2018PlayerTacklesTFLSnaps PlayedPlayerTacklesTFLSnaps PlayedThere is zero doubt that when looking at these from a run-stopping perspective, Frank Clark comes in below the other three. Thus, when combining the fact that the pass rushing numbers are largely the same for all four players, the fact that Clark’s contributions in stopping the run fall short of the other three leads me to believe that Pro Bowl selection process actually made the correct decision putting him as an alternate. Now, can an argument be made that Clark should have made the Pro Bowl? Absolutely. But in my opinion, the three guys who did make it, are the three guys who should have made it. Moving on to one of the other players for whom there have been some loud voices on social media, Tyler Lockett was also not selected to the Pro Bowl roster. This in spite of having recorded 800 yards and 9 touchdowns in an offense that throws the ball less often than any other offense in the NFL, which appears to have been the problem. Yes, there is no doubt that Lockett is having a phenomenally efficient season, and that he has returned to health in 2018 to fill the void left by the departure of Paul Richardson and Jimmy Graham. However, players don’t make the Pro Bowl based on efficiency because fans still like big counting numbers. Thus, let’s go ahead and compare Lockett’s 2018 numbers to those players who did make the Pro Bowl: Julio Jones, Michael Thomas Tre Madden Color Rush Jersey , Adam Thielen and Davante Adams. Tyler Lockett next to 2018 Pro Bowl WRsPlayerReceptionsTargetsCatch RateYardsYards/ReceptionTDPlayerReceptionsTargetsCatch RateYardsYards/ReceptionTDAs you see, the last row in the table is an anonymous player I’ve named the “Mystery Man” because if there is a wide receiver in the NFC who warrants having made the Pro Bowl roster over one of the four receivers that actually did make it, that would be my vote. Unfortunately, Mystery Man isn’t a real person, it’s the combined stats of Lockett and Doug Baldwin. So, yes, there is absolutely zero debate whatsoever that Lockett is having a phenomenal season, and that his phenomenal season is the result of a historically efficient season. At the end of the day Pro Bowl voters want big numbers, and no receiver in the current Seahawks offense is going to put up the kind of numbers necessary to make the Pro Bowl. Thus, if you have an issue with Lockett having been left off the Pro Bowl roster, it seems more appropriate to take it up with Pete Carroll and Brian Schottenheimer than it does to complain about the process or how Lockett never stood a chance in the offensive system in which he plays. Just to demonstrate how little the Seahawks actually throw the ball, and how few opportunities he actually gets as a receiver, here are Lockett’s numbers compared to the four Pro Bowl tight ends from both the AFC and the NFC. Tyler Lockett 2018 stats versus Pro Bowl TEsPlayerReceptionsTargetsCatch RateYardsYards/ReceptionTDPlayerReceptionsTargetsCatch RateYardsYards/ReceptionTDLooking at that, the only thing I can think of is to just imagine how good Eric Ebron could be if he had a real quarterback throwing the ball to him.
